Peninsula Records – Return & Refund Policy

At Peninsula Records, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.
This Return & Refund Policy outlines how we handle returns, exchanges, and refunds for both in-store and online purchases.


1. Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns or exchanges within 14 days of purchase or delivery, provided that:
• You have the original receipt or proof of purchase.
• The item is unopened, unused, and in its original condition and packaging.
• The item is not listed as a final sale or non-returnable item (see Section 2).

If more than 14 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.


2. Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, including:
• Opened or played vinyl records, CDs, or cassettes
• Vintage, pre-owned, or second hand records
• Sale or discounted items
• Gift cards and digital downloads
• Custom or special-order items

These items are sold “as is,” and all sales are final.


3. Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive a defective or damaged record or item:
1. Please contact us at info@peninsula-records.com within 7 days of receiving your order.
2. Provide your order number, photos of the damage (if applicable), and a brief description.
3. Once we verify the issue, we’ll offer a replacement, store credit, or refund, depending on availability.

We inspect all returned items before approving any refund or exchange.


4. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you via email or phone to confirm whether your refund is approved.
• Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
• Shipping costs (if any) are non-refundable, except in cases of defective or incorrect items.
• If you paid cash in-store, refunds may be issued as store credit at our discretion.


5. Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item for the same title or a different one of equal value:
• Contact us or visit our store within the return period.
• Exchanges are subject to product availability.
• Any price difference must be paid or will be refunded as store credit.


6. Shipping Returns (for Online Orders)

To return an item by mail:
1. Contact us first at info@peninsula-records.com to initiate your return.
2. Once approved, send the item to:

You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was defective or incorrect.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance — we can’t guarantee that we’ll receive your returned item.


7. Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase if they haven’t yet been shipped.
After that, please refer to our return process once the order is received.


8. In-Store Purchases

In-store purchases follow the same return and refund conditions listed above.
Please bring your receipt and the original item to the counter for assistance.
