Living Eyes was the Bee Gees' final album released on RSO Records and was recorded between February and June 1981. The band consciously moved away from the falsetto vocals and dance beats of their previous work, opting for a more electronic, mainstream pop and rock approach with less emphasis on synthesizers than their previous work and more on acoustic elements.
