This album was the group's second official full-length release by "Melodiya" and compiled songs written over many years, many of which were already well-known to fans through unofficial "magnitizdat" (underground tape recordings) but appeared here for the first time in professional studio quality. The album's sound is classic Soviet rock, combining elements of blues-rock and pop-rock, with philosophical lyrics characteristic of the group's leader, Andrey Makarevich.
